Cardiology - Overview

PICS opened on February 1, 2010 as a Cardiac Centre for Excellence of Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospital fulfills the void in Invasive Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery services in the Eastern NCR, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand regions. PICS is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of Heart Disease for all age groups. The centre provides comprehensive inpatient, outpatient and a 24/ 7 Emergency Cardiac Care backed by state of art equipment and trained personnel. The treatment facilities at the center are further strengthened by the high coordination between the Cardiac teams, both medical and surgical.  

Transporting Cardiac patients in time is highly specialized and critical medically. The Cardiac Ambulance @ PICS is well equipped with a complete range of emergency equipment like mobile ventilator, defibrillator, ECG machines and monitors to provide accurate information while specially trained doctors and paramedics on board deal with all kinds of cardiac emergencies.

Non-Invasive Cardiology
The Cardiology team at PICS focuses its primary attention on diagnosis to decide the most appropriate line of treatment. The team is supported by excellent diagnostic services like Electrocardiography, computerized Tread mill test, Colour Doppler Echocardiography System, Computerized Holter and Monitoring Units. 64 slice CT angiography is the first in East NCR and adjoining areas.

Interventional Cardiology
The interventional cardiology department is equipped with FD-20 Philips Cath Lab capable of performing coronary as well as peripheral interventions. The interventional cardiology team at PICS comes with a vast experience in the field of interventional procedures.
